I'm Not a Writer

I haven’t tumbled in a while but this was just a random thought I had in the midst of all the controversy over gay marriage.

If there becomes a constitutional ban on gay marriage do you think it will affect non-gay ppl in the future? Just think about it, I don’t think its morally right to commit adultery and it says it’s wrong in the Bible right? I’m sure many of you feel the same way, unless you’re doing it. What if Lawmakers start to make that a big issue and want to make a law against it? So what if there was a constitutional ban on Adultery or lust or greed ? I mean you can’t help who you like or fall for right? And why make laws against Polygamy? Weren’t there men in the Bible that had multiple wives and that was ok Back Then right? If we’re going to use the Bible as a resource to create laws or place bans on things, we shouldn’t just pick and chose certain subject matters. Im sure a lot of you would hate to see things that you seek pleasure in that may not be morally right become lawfully wrong….Just some random thinking & I’m in no way trying to use the Bible for justification for anything… Trust me I’ve read and re-read those same scriptures so many people use to make judgements against others that don’t love the way they do…And if straight ppl Love is so right then Why the High divorce rate?? Oh you shouldn’t divorce but understand certain circumstances too you know… Bible give those reasons in Deut, Mark, 1 Corinthians and in some more books. But I don’t think ppl follow all those rules either.

Tear stained pillow, I did that. 

Bruised knuckles, I did that.

Sleepless night, I did that.

Broken heart, I did that.

Words cannot began to describe the appalling deed I did unto you.  I was your protector, but I left you there alone.  I was your hero, here to rescue you from the perils of the world.  But I retreated and made a cowardly action; only to have you nearly die in my arms from my selfish ways.

It was never worth it.  For the pain I caused you will forever burn in my heart.  I know your heart is shattered, and it will take more than a dozen roses and dinner to piece it back together. 

If you will have me, I will mend it.  I will kiss each piece as I put them in their rightful places.  I will glue them with love and trust.   I will shield your heart with my faithfulness and compassion.  I will carry it where ever I go and will never lose sight of such a wonder, delicate, and rare gem that has been blessed in my life.  Despite my shortcomings, my love for you NEVER ceased.  I know now what I knew then, and that’s that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.  Through the good and bad, richer or poorer, I want to create new beginnings with you.  I want to surround myself with happy memories of us. 

When I look in your eyes I see your love for me.  I see your pain, but yet it’s covered with forgiveness and a chance to start over.  You are the epitome of a strong woman. You are weathering through this atrocity with a sense of patience, love, and care.  You held me in your arms when I was too ashamed to look in your eyes.  You gave me gifts despite my actions. 

You sacrificed for me. You loved me. You gave me your all, and I promise, I promise I will give you my all plus some.  Nothing can break the bond that we created.  For it was shaped in compassion and giving and sealed with love.

I am your baby, you are my baby, so baby let’s make this work because I love you.  There’s absolutely no one else I’d rather sleep next to because only you can provide the warmth I need.  There’s absolutely no one else I’d rather make sweet, hot, crazy, and compassionate love to than you.  There’s no one I’d rather cook homemade meals for or take to our special yogurt place for dessert.  There’s no one, No One but You Bay.
